Zakatul Fitri

This is a special charity ADT provides to the poor and needy on Eid. Not only does it help the less fortunate enjoin in festivities just like us but it is obligatory for every member of the family to donate this, and should be donated the day before Eid.

Allaah`s Messenger (peace be upon him) enjoined the payment of one Sa` of dates or one Sa` of barley as ‘Zakat-ul-Fitr’ on every Muslim, slave or free, male or female, young or old, and he (peace be upon him) ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the Eid-ul-Fitr’ prayer.
